Whitney Whetten
Through yoga and art, Whitney wishes to bring greater health, harmony, and happiness to individuals, to the community, and to the world. She began her journey with yoga when she took her first yoga class at the age of 15. She immediately knew that she had found a path worth exploring. Within a decade, she went on to receive her yoga teacher certification and has furthered her education with a 500 hour certificate and an aerial yoga teaching certificate. Having received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology and her minor in Dance at UNM, her classes are full of creative exploration and anatomical awareness. Through intention, breathing, asanas, and meditation, Whitney aims to leave her students feeling refreshed and renewed after each class.
Roberta
Forester
Roberta has been practicing yoga for many years and is a 500 RYT with the Yoga Alliance. Her classes creatively combine a variety of yoga styles, including Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Restorative, and Kundalini, and she incorporates breath, energy, and meditation practices. She specializes in instructing pose kramas (stages) and encourages the use of modifications and props so that all students feel empowered to personalize their practice and work safely. Her sincere desire is to create an experience where people can learn to reconnect with their own body, mind, and spirit—and have FUN!
Ruth Vega
Ruth’s love of yoga began in 2007 when she was living in Seattle and decided to join her roommate for a class at a local studio. She found yoga challenging, empowering and healing right away and has continued to practice ever since. Over the years, yoga has helped her manage anxiety, heal from traumatic experiences, and learn how to stay present and come back to her breath during periods of stress. She’s continually amazed at how the practice challenges and supports her and offers new ways to deepen.
Ruth has a background in nursing and currently works as a writer and editor. She completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training in the spring of 2024 and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. She loves helping others reach greater self-awareness and embodiment through movement. She teaches slow-to-moderate paced vinyasa flow and hatha yoga.
Andrea S. Williams
Andrea practiced conscious connected breath work since 2007. Breathwork helped her ease the grieving process after her husband’s unexpected passing. She was able to heal and move forward. After experiencing deep emotional and family clearing through breathwork, she was guided to become a Conscious Breathwork Facilitator through Zach Rehder in Sedona, AZ in 2022.
She also studied with Sondra Ray, who together with Leonard Orr, brought Rebirthing to the U.S. in the 70’s. She works with clients on individual issues, such as birth trauma, negative thoughts, parental disapproval, anxiety, relationships and more. An eternal student, she enjoys studying new and different approaches to breath work.Andrea believes breathwork can support and work together with other healing modalities. Best of all, the Breath is completely natural and free.
